We had the banquet on February 21st at the Globe Theatre in Berlin. For all those that attended,
THANK YOU! For those that did not, here are a few things you missed.
1. Jerry Rhue presented the Herman Rhue to Gary Trader and Joe Morris award to Curtis Andrews.
Gary and Curtis were each very surprised.
2. Founding Members of MD 3 were awarded Charter Member patches my Bob Thompson.
3. Bob Thompson presented John "Butterball" Tartufo with a plaque of recognition for all his efforts
supporting MD 3 over the last few years.
4. Presentation of 2008 year in review and a 2009 Focus on our Future.
5. John Tartufo's family was present and had a presentation for his Birthday.
6. Dave Hayes made a presentation about the upcoming Scavenger Hunt.
The food was excellent and the management and staff at the Globe were exceptional.
Other points of interest:
Don't forget the Scavenger Hunt on March 28th. Dave had put a lot of work into this and it sounds like
a great event, so mark your calendars today.
